AJ Davis leads Experiment Zone as founder and CEO, bringing together deep UX research expertise and conversion-driven experimentation to help companies design digital experiences people love—and that grow revenue.
With a master’s in Human Factors from Bentley University and a background in human-computer interaction, AJ has held key roles in both product and agency settings. She spearheaded user research at Google Optimize, then built and scaled the UX and optimization practice at Clearhead, working with clients like CVS, Lululemon, and Steve Madden.
Her philosophy: research defines the “why,” and experimentation proves the “how.” She believes insights without action are wasted. Under AJ’s guidance, Experiment Zone deploys that ethos across usability studies, hypothesis building, A/B testing, and data-driven roadmapping.
She also co-edited Usability for the World: Building Better Cities and Communities, hosts the Experiment Zone Podcast, and regularly speaks about the convergence of user research and conversion optimization.
